About the role /Job description:
DataStage (DS) is an ETL tool that can extract data, transform it, apply business principles and then load it to any specific target. It is a part of IBM's Information Platforms Solutions suite and also that of InfoSphere. DataStage makes use of graphical notations for constructing data integration solutions.
Skills and Requirement: DataStage, Unix and SQL.
Responsibilities:
- 24 X 7 On-call production support on a rotation basis for supporting.
- Should have the technical skillset to develop code using DataStage, Unix and SQL.
- Should be able to interface with clients and work on the technical requirements.
- Contributes to an area by ensuring the quality of output and work independently.
- Responsible for platform stability, proactive job monitoring, issue management & resolution, reporting and timely escalation.
- Good working knowledge and demonstrated ability to utilize systems, tools and procedures to accomplish the job.
- Member should have excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- An additional requirement if have knowledge in BMC Remedy, Tivoli and Cognos reporting
